It’s that time of year again

And no, I’m not referring to how often I update this blog.

Gwen’s 2011 Lunar Calendar is now available for preorder through her website. So if you’ve ever wanted to buy something that doesn’t exist yet, now’s your chance. We’ve also recently updated and reorganised the handmade badge cards and hippie badges so please go and take a gander at her new stuff.

Also takings its first tentative steps into the world is the Facebook page we’ve set up to help people follow Gwen’s work. Dig in folks!

Mondo Jewellery

We proudly announce the opening of three grand new wings on the unspeakable gothic pile that is www.gwendavies.com. At least I hope it’s a gothic pile. If it turns out to be a bird of some kind it’s going to be fucked with three new wings.

Anyways and anyhoo, the new additions, just in time for the festive melee, would be jewellery, jewellery and more jewellery. Yes, you lucky web-monkeys, for your perusal today, all three types of jewellery, namely hippie necklaces, groovy bracelets and er, eerie earrings. Who could ask for more?

The new congruency

Sat down with Gwen last night and thrashed out a slightly new look for the web site. We’ve tried to make the menu easier to read, changed the font sizes, removed some of the clutter and ditched the hated teal text and borders in favour of a more tasteful shade of purple. Gwen says the site needed to be more congruent. I think this is something she’s picked up from Mary Queen of Shops. Anyway.

Gwen’s newly congruent web site.

Ta da. Feedback anyone? I particularly like to hear when it doesn’t display properly in someone’s browser. Gives me hours of fun that does.

We’ve also updated the list of shows we’re doing this year.

New stuff on Gwen’s website

A bunch of new stuff magically appeared on Gwen’s website over the last few days.

Most excitingly two new, that’s right kids, NEW greetings cards are available, The Butterfly Keeper no. 1 and Sarasvati. We’re really excited to be unveiling them.

I’ve also finally brought the postcards gallery up to date with the entire series of her amazing hippy postcards.

We’re also laying our plan of campaign for the 2010 lunar calendar which is now available for preorder on the website. How organised is that? World domination cannot be far away…
